Artist Jeffrey Robb is offering a pre-Christmas three dimensional portrait shoot for a limited number of sitters. The portraits will be taken at Spatial Imaging’s photographic studio in Richmond-Upon-Thames, where Jeffrey is Creative Director.

The process is similar to a conventional photographic portrait. The difference is that 36 different photographs are taken, each from a slightly different angle that together generate a three dimensional image which can also have a small amount of animation. The camera captures images as it moves along a rail. This takes about 6 seconds where the subject must remain quite still. Small children and pets may be unsuitable. The subject must be seated during the process.

These portraits are a prelude to Facestation, a new company offering three dimensional and animated portraiture hardware systems that will launch in the New Year.

Sittings will be available on Sunday 11th December from 2 pm till 4 pm and Monday 12th 11am till 4 pm.

Sunday 11th December
Available slots: 2, 2.30, 3, 3.30, and 4

Monday 12th December
11, 11.30, 12, 12.30 – LUNCH – 1.30, 2, 2.30, 3, 3.30 and 4.00.

The finished portraits will slightly differ in final size depending on the proportions of the individual sitters but will be approximately 20 inches by 25 inches.

Price for the photo shoot and one copy is 500 UK pounds.

Only three copies can be made per person prior to Christmas.
