My current work explores how we all endure loss and disappointment. It does not make us stronger or more noble but instead gives us a history that we come to endure. In any group of people gathered together many will be harbouring an old wound - a personal loss that quietly informs their lives, every day. Over time these losses become too complicated to explain and too old to be of interest; they go unmentioned like secrets.
